From "Having A Ball" cache there is a lot of tailless bushwhacking and you must gain several hundred feet of elevation. Pick your own route up the hillside. You will first be going up to the peak with the antenna on it. From there to the "Top Of The Mountain" cache you will be on a dirt Edison road and good trail. This same road will loop you back to "Campyc's" "Sweet Smell Spot" cache.
The cache is located on the highest peak in the range (1171 feet). It is about 40 feet from the trail
The large ammo box has lizards and snakes on the outside. Inside the container is full of snakes, lizards, frogs, a dinosaur, and a copy of "101 Southern California Hikes".
Watch for snakes and ticks in the entire area. They will be watching you!
