A cache to the west of Greenham Common, Newbury. The path slopes a little at times.
Greenham Common was an airbase at various times during the twentieth century and this cache is hidden roughly under the flightpath. We can remember attending one of the air tattoos here (many years ago). We could not get there until lunch time and just as we arrived three F1-11 swing wing aircraft took off right over our heads, each having its wings in a different position - the noise!!! Suggested parking is in the car park at N51 23.095, W001 18.365. Follow the red trail and just past the end of the fence take the obvious path to the west. The cache is a small clip top box covered in camouflage tape. It contains a selection of small goodies, and a log book.
