Geocache Description:

Yet Another Rattlesnake Mountain / Hufaker Hills (YARMHHC)cache!
PLEASE! DO NOT leave anything edible in the cache including candy, lip balm or candles. There are many rodents in the area that will destroy the cache to get at anything remotely food like.

Basque Sheep herders were in the habit of erecting stone monuments in the areas they took the herd in their care. While the monument you will see is no doubt of more modern origin it brings to mind the originals which may be found in many parts of Northern Nevada. Perhaps this adventure will inspire you to seek out an authentic Stone Boy. From the name you can imagine that I will be looking for more this summer.

P.S.:Lots of other nice caches in this area, make a day of it!

Edit:3/30/13 the stone pile this cache was named for is long gone, it was knocked down and scattered.
