Inspired by the 'City Gates X' series by Panic!, Southern Gates is located at the southern highway entrance to the ACT.
The cache is less than 100m from the stone border marker, but a little climbing is required. You are looking for a 1.2L plastic container with a custom paint job. Included is a 'first to find' certificate and 9 Southern Gates collecter cards - so don't procrastinate for too long about seeking this cache out!
If approaching from Canberra there is a safe spot to turn around approximately 300 metres south of the border at Deep Creek. The highway can be busy, particularly in winter, so please take care when turning and keep a close eye on children.
