This is the second in a series of caches honoring one of the
greatest magicians of all time - the late, great Harry Houdini.
Each cache in this series will be different then its predecessor.
Different how, you ask? Well, that's what you will need to figure
out.
Houdini wanted to further amaze his audience by creating "the
greatest illusion of them all." After weeks of thinking, and then
creating, building and preparing, rehearsing night and day, he
finally developed this magical illusion. Audiences worldwide loved
it, but there was a small problem - there was no name for this
masterful piece. Houdini had such a love for magic and felt that in
magic, "seeing is believing". He
enjoyed seeing the faces of the many non-believers transform into
believers right before his very eyes. On that very notion, a name
came to him. A name that, to this day, is still associated with
Harry Houdini. The
Metamorphisis.
These Houdini caches are designed not to be a
quick park, grab, sign & replace. Be prepared to spend some
time solving, searching, signing and perhaps cussing the great
Houdini, or me - whichever you choose. How much time you need or
use, is up to you, and whomever you are with. Remember, not
everyone has magical powers. Have you solved
Harry Houdini: The Great Escape or
Harry Houdini: The Milk Can Escape
yet?
In order to get your smiley, you must find and sign the
log. Simple enough, eh?
If your frustration level becomes such that you feel the need to
scream, do one (or more) of the following: take a break, step back,
sip a pepsi, stand on one leg with one hand on your head and the
other on your belly, eat a hotdog, or come back to it later. Of
course, feel free to devise your own stress release.
Please make sure all parts are placed back as you
found them, or better if need be. This will ensure that future
cachers will not have it any easier then you.
This is log only cache. It is best to bring a pen or pencil to
sign the log. Sorry, any logs signed in blood will not count.
Depending on your entrance, there may be some bushwacking
involved. Becareful of the thorns!
These were the best coords I've gotten from 100 readings on a
dreary, cloudy day. If you find better, please let me know!
NOTE: there is NO need to undo or take apart
anything - this will get you hurt! (This means you, JB!)
