Easy to find - Aprox 250 meters from British Camp Carpark. Hidden in the foot of a tree half way down the bank. Please take care,this can be slippy under foot. Good footwear esential - hill is very steep.
The Cache is a small round tin, containing a yoyo, bugs eye glass, bookmark.
There is a welcoming pub across the road from the car park, perfect for after a walk on the hills.
While you are here, please have a look at the view from the hills (Weather depending), and the other caches in the area. There are 4 within 1 1/2 hours walk. – Annies Rest, Stephies Hollow and Land Rover discovery.
Cost of the car park is £2 all day. (There is free parking locally, but it will increase the walk.)
I personally rate the terrain at 3-4, however following an e-mailed complaint that this cache is dangerous I have increased the terrain rating to a 5.
Please be careful when attempting this cache, slope can be slippery – that’s where the name came from!!
