Geocache Description:

This cache is up on the South Downs Way, within a mile's walk of two parking places. The first is on Glaseby Lane off the A24 at N50' 53.781 W000' 24.690. If you come this way, the walk is slightly steeper, and you pass the bunkers which gave the cache its name.
The other parking place is at The Chantry Post, at N50' 53.805 W000' 27.327. There is a pretty drive to this parking place, passing a waterfall, and the walk is rather flatter.
The walk can be a little muddy from either direction.

The cache is in a transparent 1.1L click-lock container, and when placed, it contained a Simpsons ruler, pencil, rubber and pencil sharpener, colouring pencils, Champagne bubble liquid, earrings and the Baboushka TB.

Along the way from Glaseby Lane, you will see two concrete bunkers covered in steel plates. We believe these were used for training in the Second World War, and there are many of them along both the North and South Downs Ways.

If you come from the Chantry Post, you will have to walk on another 1/2 a mile to see both the bunkers.
