We stumbled across this site on a chilly winter afternoon. We
thought it would be a great spot for a cache.
After checking every map we had with us (which was many), we
discovered that we were indeed just outside the boundary of the
Monument. Please enjoy this secluded spot with respect.
After being snowed on most of the day, as we were finishing up,
the sun broke through and illuminated the painted hills. It was
indeed a beautiful sight.
