Located a short walk from the parking area of the Reservoir. Very little bushwacking, Suggest walking along edge of trees, not just the straight line across marshy meadow. You are looking for a plastic container with camo tape. Like ALL caches and trails on this TVA property, the cache is only available by Daylight ! Gates close around 7:00 PM.
This area overlooks the facinating Raccoon Mountain pumped storage reservoir. This is a popular place for bird lovers to come when they are filling the reservoir as they feed on fish. Bald Eagles nest here in the winter. One was spotted by a bird watcher on the day that this cache was placed.
