Uppakra, south Scandinavia main archaeological finding-place ,detected in 1934.

At Uppåkra people have been living since 500 B.C. but its period of greatness was at 900 A.D. (The Viking Age) when it was a municipality.
Nowadays you can only see the two remaining grave heaps but it once extended 600 x 1200 meters.
The exhibition with the archaeological treasures is only open during summertime.
