HALF HIDDEN (Bucks) Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Simply Paul: No, fair enough. I've let this sit too long. I'll pick up the box when I'm next passing... wherever this is [;)]
Thanks for the nudge!
Also thanks to those who paid it a visit.

Geocache Description:

A mystery cache which doesn't start at the above co-ords. You will have a mile and a bit walk to the cache and back and it should take you about an hour. Caution: This could be a slippery cache in wet weather and care should be taken if caching with children. There's a few stiles to cross so it might be ok for brave dogs but not wheel or pushchairs - sorry!

Your first target on the way to finding HALF HIDDEN (Bucks) A tricky cache (placed to celebrate my 300th find) which will need some research before doing it. To begin, you need to locate the half-hidden sunken telephone box shown to the left. It's in a duck pond somewhere in Buckinghamshire. It's NOT at the co-ords quoted above. You should be able to locate it via an Internet search, or by bugging someone who knows where it is to tell you its location.
Any 'non-spoiler' photographs of the box would be appreciated, along with your 'not giving any twists or the phonebox co-ords away' logs - Thanks!

From here, go to the nearest building - You can't miss it. It has a 'numerical name' - This is A. There's a date on a sign on the front of the building. It's 17BC. On the side of the building was a white plaque with D 'royal' object(s) on it. Since it's been removed, locate a yellow object next to the gateway. You'll find 100 over H, and D below.

You need to have a little search at:
N51° B(B-A-1).B(B+C)D
W000° C(D-1).(C+A)(A-D)(B+C)

To get there use the quiet roads (walk on the right to face any oncoming traffic) and clear footpaths provided.
Happy and safe hunting!

The smallish cache originally contained:
2x Candle
1x Boxed toy VW Beetle
1x Angel
1x Flyer for Bekonscot Model Village
1x Harmonica
1x Squashed geo-coin (non-loggable!)
Plus the usual: Logbook, cache notice & pen.

While you're in the area, I suggest you try... Ah, that would be telling. There are several great caches not far away though!

A small experiment - Please feel free to rate your visit to this cache out of ten in your log.

Finally, special thanks to Dan Wilson for suggesting this as a cache location, even though he didn't actually know where it was! He'd seen a picture of it online and fancied it, then spotted a photo of it on one of my logs. In a way, this lead to the idea behind this 'find it to find it' cache, so cheers mate.
