Bend Oregon just off the road to Mt. Bachelor. At a local picnic area 5.4 miles from the flaming Chicken Circle. Very beautiful spot on the Deschutes River, easy parking, short walk ( less than 100 yards from the road .
This cache is a cammo / ammo box with a log. There are some fine wooden goodies...and don't forget to bring the Pup ! It's a great spot to stop and go fishing...rumer has it that locals use Brown Rooster Tails, caddis flies, or a Mepps ! It's even a great place to bring goodies for a nice Bar B Que as the fire grills are provided. If you have a guitar you can sit by a tall Ponderosa Pine tree and sing to nature. There is a wonderful nature walk up river from the cache site if you're feelin' a bit outdoorsy ! Bring a camera as it is very picturesque here, definitely a locals favorite !
