I've been thinking about a location like this for some time and
stumbled across a now archived cache near here. Thought it was time
to put it back on the geocaching map.
A note of caution, you do not need to risk life and limb to get
to the cache. One of the several ways to it, parking almost at the
end of Lower Quarry Road, does involve crossing a railway, but ONLY
AT THE DESIGNATED CROSSING. You are urged to study an OS map, paper
or online before attempting this cache.
The cache is a small tupperware box with a few bits and bobs in
it. There's not a lot of room for swag or travel bugs, nothing too
large please.
