Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden along part of an access road/trail which is very, very steep (the reason for the 3.5 terrain rating), please be careful. You will have to get off the trail (about 5-10 feet) to actually find the cache, but it's just grassy/shrubby stuff.

The cache itself is a plastic see through container with air/water tight lid. It's about 6in. x 6in. and 8in. high.
I put some miniature "Magic 8 balls", a small stuffed reindeer, a log book and pen, and a few other small things.
I named this the "Spider Wasp's Lair" because this is the area where I first encountered a spider wasp dragging its prey back home.
You can come from the North or the South. If coming from the North, park in Penasquitos canyon parking lot and walk down the sidewalk (West), 'til you come to a road.
There is a gate a little ways in, but I've never seen it closed.
