Geocache Description:

Munces Wood is a green oasis in the otherwise over-developed village of Marlow Bottom, situated between Marlow and High Wycombe

This is a micro cache in a 35mm film canister and is hidden in Munces Wood. The Wood formerly part of the garden of a large house was saved from the developers a few years ago by locally raised funds. It is a popular place for the doggy fraternity although I have to say there were none to be seen when I was planting the cache.

Although there are two roads adjacent and houses all around the cache location is not overlooked, apart that is for a lot of tree cover. GPS reception can be a problem but I was able to get consistent co-ords on two occasions.

Park on the road at the entrance to the wood and the cache is just a few metres inside.

The village has it's own successful brewery to be found at the entrance to the valley. Go in and you will be get a sample of the local brew.

Unlike some 'cheaper' micros this one actually has its own pencil and when planted had a few small denomination foreign coins (still legal tender ones!!).

Whilst in the area why not try my 'The Booker Prize' GCKMQW cache?
