Geocache Description:

OK, Texas Geocachers! The Challenge is on for the top Geocaching Area in the Big State of Texas.

Last year North Texas snatched the trophy away from Southeast Texas in a stunning and slightly controversial upset. This year, they have had the greatest increase of new cachers in the state and they are determined to hold onto the prize and the bragging rights. Oh, those bragging rights!

This years Challenge will be at Cedar Hill State Park 15 miles south of Dallas off US Hwy 67. The date has been set for March 11, 12, 13, 2005. A list of "The Rules" can be found here. For those camping at the park, you are encouraged to make reservations as early as possible. These are fully refundable 72 hours prior to the reservation date. When you do reserve your site, PLEASE send your information to Akulakat so he may build a database. We need to let the Ranger know 2 weeks prior how many campsites to set aside for us in a group.
