There are many places along the beautiful Kancamagus Highway to see beautiful water falls and great places to stop and get out and enjoy the river. The Kancamagus Pass near Lincoln is almost 3,000 feet. The views are breathtaking.
There are numerous trails for all levels of hiking. Many lovely locations to park can be found along the river. We hope you have time to enjoy many of these places. We spent our honeymoon in the White Mountains, and several anniversaries. We have had some wonderful times here with our three boys and over the years with our four dogs.The location of this cache is not a well used spot so it is quiet and away from the crowds. We have found this area to be most beautiful and relaxing.
*Sad to say the area has really changed after the flood. We still have beautiful memories from here but the area has lost a lot of it's beauty. There is still a nice place to have a picnic under a tree on the right or lunch out on a big rock on the right. The path down is easily done but not the pretty path it had once been.
