Geocache Description:

Borovsky kostelik

Borovsky kostelicek

V jednom miste Ceskomoravske vrchoviny v obci Havlickova Borova stoji na vrsicku kostelicek. Je to Borovsky kostelicek (kostel sv. Vita). Je to kostel o kterem pise Karel Havlicek Borovsky v basni „Tyrolske elegie“, ve ktere popisuje zatceni v noci z 15. na 16. prosince 1851 a jeho prevezeni do exilu v tyrolskem Brixenu:

The church of Borova

In one place of the Czech-Moravia highland in village Havlickova Borova a small church stands on a hill. It is the church of Borova (Saint Vitus church). Karel Havlicek Borovsky wrote a poem about this called “ Tyrolske elegie” where he described the arrest in night from 15th to 16th December 1851 and his transport to exile to Brixen in Tyrol:

Trubka bresti, kola hrci,
jedem k Jihlavi,
vzadu, abysme nic neztratili,
klusou zandarmi.

Ten borovsky kostelicek
stoji na vrsku,
skrze lesy smutne na mne hledel:
„Jsi to, muj hosku?“

…….
