Fast ein Drive-in Cache nahe eines ehemaligen Uxlemitanus Tempels.
Almost a drive-in cache next to a former Uxlemitanus temple.
Deutsche Beschreibung
Vor langer Zeit stand hier ein Tempel der dem keltischen Wettergott Uxlemitanus geweiht war. Später wurde Uxlemitanus dem römischen Gott Jupiter gleichgesetzt. Der Stein, dessen Kopie heute hier steht, wurde von einem römischen Bürger gestiftet weshalb er auch Römerstein genannt wird.
Um zum Cache zu kommen fahre nach Brunn bei Fehring. Dazu fahre bei der Autobahnabfahrt Ilz/Fürstenfeld von der A2 ab und folge der Straße nach Riegersburg. Dort kannst du ebenfalls einen Cache finden. Fahre weiter Richtung Hatzendorf/Fehring. Wenn du in Brunn angekommen bist weist recht bald ein Schild nach rechts, den Berghang hinauf, zum Römerstein.
Bei den oben angegebenen Koordinaten befindet sich der Römerstein. Du kannst mit dem Auto direkt bis vor den Stein fahren. Betrachte nun den Stein, lies Dir die Erklärung auf der nebenstehenden Tafel durch und suche den Cache bei N46° 57.311', E16° 00.705'. Er ist dort zwischen den Wurzeln eines Baumes versteckt.

English description
A long time ago a temple of the celtic weather-god Uxlemitanus was located at this place. Later Uxlemitanus was considered to be the same god as the Roman god Jupiter. The stone, a copy of which is standing here today, was founded by a roman citizen so it is also called Römerstein (Roman's stone) today.
To get to the cache drive to Brunn bei Fehring. Leave the highway A2 at exit Ilz/Fürstenfeld and follow the road to Riegersburg. There you can look for another cache . Continue driving in the direction of Hatzendorf/Fehring and you will soon arrive in Brunn. A few hundred meters later a sign saying 'Römerstein' will point up the hill on the right side.
The Roman's stone is located at the coordinates given in the header. You can drive your car right to the stone. Now behold the stone, read the explanation on the nearby sign and go to N46° 57.311', E16° 00.705', where the cache is hidden between the roots of a tree.
