Reviewer Revan: Cache Owner (CO) has not responded, so I am regretfully archiving this cache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking new cache placements.

Geocache Description:

Located in the quiet town of Peacock, not sure if its a Ghost Town or not, but I didn't see any movement except for a few dogs as I was placing the cache.

Some interesting information about Peacock, it says the population of the town in 1980 was 125. Looks like it has dropped off alot since then.1909: Peacock was originally called Alluvia when it was a stop on the Stamford and Northwestern Railway.1910: The name was changed when J. W. Peacock, postmaster, moved his store to Alluvia. The population at that time was 100.1914: A tornado wrecked the town, but growth continued1920: The population was 350 people.1940: the town was reduced to 216 residents1964: The Peacock school closed.1980: The population was 125.Cache container is a small plastic mint container. It has a first finder prize of a WG $1THERE IS NO WRITING UTENSIL IN THE CACHE, PLEASE TAKE YOUR OWN!!!!!!
