Geocache Description:

This cache is a small guide to the main-sightseeing-places in Klagenfurt.
Not all, of course, so there's enough room left for specialized Micros
Distance 2 km.

On weekends there should be enough free parking-places around Stage 1.
During the week you might have to buy a parking-ticket.

Stage 1: The old 'Rudolphinum'
N1 = 46 37.282
E1 = 14 18.728

You should stand in front of a big block with some inlays in it. Count them for K.

Stage 2: Peter and Paul
N2 = N1 + (4 * K + 3)
E2 = E1 - (15 * K + 2)

In front of Austrias oldest pilaster-church you will find a insignia with a lot
of numbers on it. Take the crossfoot of the year, when the Church went to
the property of the Jesuits as L.
I suggest to have a look inside, when it's open. It really looks nice!

Stage 3: The Empress
N3 = N2 + (10 * L - 3)
E3 = E2 - (4 * L + 3)

Note the crossfoot of the year of the revealment of the statue as A

Stage 4: Water, water, water
N4 = N3 + (2 * A + 1)
E4 = E3 - (2 * A + 1)

Near your new position you see a small guy standing around.
With his right arm he points in a direction. Which?
North = 2; East = 1; South = 5; West = 6; Up = 4; Down = 3
The result is G.

Stage 5: The old town hall
N5 = N4 + (11 * G)
E5 = E4 + (2 * G)

Standing in front of this building you should see a painting on the wall
above you. The painting shows a person holding 2 things. Which? (=E)

Sword and shield = -154
Sword and scales = -54
Hammer and sickle = 54
Knife and fork = 154

Stage 6: The holy Florian
N6 = N5 - (E - A -6)
E6 = E5 - (E / 2 - 1)

It seems that one of the persons on this monument was encountered while firting
with a squaw. How often did the leader or the tribe 'punish' him? (=N)

Stage 7: Oldest church in town
N7 = N6 - (8 * N - 2)
E7 = E6 - (13 * N + 2)

F is the number of clock this church has on its tower.

Stage 8: Civil registry office
N8 = N7 + (11 * F)
E8 = E7 - (42 * F + 3)

In front of this building there is an object made of flowers.
According to the type, use the number as U.

The outline of a country, seems to be Carinthia = 72
Lindwurm, heraldic animal of Klagenfurt = 84
Calendar = 96
Clock = 108
The indian, who shot the poor guy at Stage 6 = 120
I can't identify it. It seems to be any pattern = 132

Stage 9: Peace
N9 = N8 - (U - 5)
E9 = E8 + (U + 5)

A small monument with several columns. Count them and you will get R.

Stage 10: Carnival
N10 = N9 - (U / R + 7)
E10 = E9 - (2 * R - 2)

Carnival! How many masks do you see? Add 13 and you get T.

Cache:
NC = N10 - (K + L + A + G + E + N + F + U + R + T + 11)
EC = E10 - U

Enjoy!
