The coordinates take you to the Ottawa Scouting Museum. At the museum, you will need to pick up a clue list in order to complete the cache. The museum is open Thursday through Monday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
This cache is a multi-part virtual cache with a traditional cache at the last stop. The virtuals provide you a tour of 7 of the area parks and not so well known historic monuments. At each location, you will need to answer at least one question from the information available to get the coordinates for the next cache. At the next cache, answer the questions to get the coordinates for the following cache and so on, until you get to the final cache container. Then sign the log to document your accomplishment and trade items if you wish. If you wish, you can show your completed clue sheet in the scouting museum and purchase a Geocaching Trail patch.
There's a fair amount of driving involved in completing this cache but not much hiking. You should plan to spend up to 4 hours from start to finish if you don't spend too much time at each location. There is no charge for completing this cache but if you would like a patch or a tour of the museum, there is a small fee.
