About a 20 minute walk up a hill. Situated just outside
Caledon,Western Cape
The cache is situated in the Caledon Wild Flower Nature Reserve
outside Caledon, Western Cape, off the N2 Highway. Park in the
parking area and find the start to the Mering Hiking Trail at S 34
13.342 and E 019 25.687. Follow the path(s) up the hill to near the
balancing rocks. The Cache is located about 35 meters north of the
balancing rock formation under a rock. There may be a small charge
to enter the nature reserve but often the gates are simply left
open and unattended. No dogs are allowed in the reserve. Check that
there are no other people in the area before opening the cashe and
replace the stones securely. The cache contains: Bamber (a travel
bug), Geocache instructions-must read, Logbok and pen, Address
book, Pencil crayons, Pencil, Necklace, Rhino, Lizard, Soldier to
guard the cache.
