Geocache Description:

***The cache is not at the coordinates above. You must follow the clues described below***
Assume Nothing #10
Seek the Angle of Eternity, the Great Conjunction is at hand!

The treasure is hidden so that only the most clever and determined explorers may find it. In the end, the planets will align to guide you. I have left clues on this page and along the way.

To begin this quest, you must obtain a special token, crafted in my signature style.
In this token is hidden a key. A productive use of the key, combined with this number, will start you on your way:

117230593553.92999053926206244087

Remember to Assume Nothing. A CLOSE examination will produce results (I never LIE, you must have become disoriented reading the key).

The quest will take you many places, and you must come prepared:

(1)A Mirror- Cliches abound, but not here, not today. Beware the false clues! I have Flagged that which is true.

(2)A Tape Measure- I have learned it is best to start from zero, and stay centered.

(3)A Bandaid- It pains me to make these points but they must be considered. You might not need this, but some scarring will be observed.

(4)Your journey will take you into water, but know that I do not have a Heart of Stone (...or perhaps I do). Technology may fail you here.

(5)As you near the end, you must order the universe to determine the Angle of Eternity. The planets will guide you to what you seek (you must come prepared to view a wide range of the light spectrum, as there will be a distinct shift beyond violet).

There are 6 stages including the final.
If it helps, I have rated the difficulty for the stages as:
Stage 1: 2.5 star, Stage 2: 2.0 star, Stage 3: 2.5 star, Stage 4: 2.5 star, Stage 5: 2.5 star, Stage 6: 2 star.
For the puzzle, you will need special optical equipment... unless you possess particularly keen vision (some would choose to rate the difficulty a 5 for this reason. I did not).
The total distance traveled will be less than 7 miles, a car is recommended.
The first 3 stages may be accessed at any hour. The final stages are available 8am to sunset. There is limited parking in the area of the final stage, but access is free.
The terrain rating is for the last half of the quest which will require stream crossings (and maybe wading). This area has many access possibilities, some of which are harder than others.
Quests of this sort are best attempted with friends (the planets are particularly hard to manage alone, and maybe the wasps will chase after the OTHER guy). The area between the final and the tool hide is a great spot for a quiet picnic!

Congratulations to Marky and Joani for a hard-earned FTF (and a purple heart as well)!
The "You don't know what you are getting yourself into" award goes to Borospeti for making the find with the lowest find-count(150), and travelled from Norway to do it! A special mention goes to Borospeti's travelling companion, Paintrain, who logged this as his first cache!

"What's it for? Hm? Hm! Is that what you want to know? You want to know what this is all about? You don't know? You've never looked at the heavens. Everything in the heavens is here ... moving ... as the heavens move. This is how to know when, that's what. Suns, moons, stars. Yes! The Angle of Eternity." Aughra (extra credit, but no hints here...)
