The cache is placed at the ancient Augustinian Priory. It was founded by the O'Cahan clan in 1100AD. The chancel contains the ornate 15th century tomb of Cooey-na-Gall, a local O'Cahan chieftain who died in 1385. There is also a Wartwell said to have healing powers which people still visit to this day.
