Since this is a SSSI please keep to the pathways.
From the parking place you can walk on a path to the Obelisk - a
great new monument built in the early 1990s, though it looks like
it came from Queen Victoria's time. If you need a bit of help with
your North Wales' geography, visit this site!
This is a Site of Special Scientific Interest because of the
superb wild flowers that cover the hillside in spring and summer.
Watch out for the wild orchids!
Apparently this hillside is also a favourite place for spreading
the ashes of loved ones. (Yet another Happy Landins graveyard
link!!!)
