Geocache Description:

Cache is located in the Medicine Bow National Forest on the west side of Laramie Peak. Parking is at the Roaring Fork Trailhead (N 42° 15.928' W 105° 30.085') with a 1.3 mile hike or bike ride to the cache. Roaring Fork Trailhead is on Forest Service Road 671A .

Roaring Fork Trail follows a 2 track trail generally east for 1.1 miles and then turns north on a single track trail towards Goochie Park for .2 miles to the cache. Trail is open to hiking, biking and horses. Cache is located 50 feet off the trail. The trail is generally flat with very little elevation change through dense forest and some areas of thick new growth from a fire years ago. The area has an abundance of wildlife and wild flowers. Sections of this trail were cleared in 2003 by the Pathfinder Back Country Horsemen as part of their project to reopen trails in the forest. The cache is in a green ammo can with the following original contents:Cotton gloves, fishing lures, bug spray, sidewalk chalk, tarp grommets, mini spring clamps, safety light, compass and bungee cords.
