ENGLISH DESCRIPTION
This hike will take you to the southern side of the Wachau, into the Dunkelsteinerwald. Starting point is Oberarnsdorf. Please mind that the coordinates for Stages 1 and 2 are taken from the map, but the objects can be found easily.
Parking: If you are lucky at Stage 1 (space for about 3 cars)
Public transport: Not so easy. A possibility would be to go by train to Spitz and from there over the Danube by the ferry.
The terrain is not difficult as long as only the cache is considered. The paths are mostly forest-roads, but they are steep and muddy, so I think they are not advisable for strollers. Take a good map with you.
All calculations usually apply to the last three digits of N and E (simply ignore the comma-delimiter in case larger numbers are to be dealt with). Conversions of letters to numbers works like this: A=1, B=2, .... Z=26.
Stage 1 - Patron Saint: N1 =48° 21.443', E1 015° 25.149'
That's the place where you may leave your car. Look at the monument and find out, what it is that is honoured here. The words speak of a "finding", although I think that such things usually aren't "found". Convert the first four letters to numbers and take them as A, B, C and D.
Stage 2 - Alpine Flower: N2= N1 - (A*C*D) + 24 , E2 = E1 + B*C*D + 23
Enjoy the view near an object adorned with an alpine flower (larger than life). Have a look at the object: It was erected in honour of somebody. What was his profession? Count the number of letters (umlaut counting as one) and call the result E. Convert the last letter of the profession to F.
Cache: NCache = N2 - E*10 - F*3 - 4 , ECache = E2 - E*5 + 990
Now you will certainly understand the name of the cache. If not, you are at the wrong place.
The cache is a transparent plastic-box (appr. 600 ml):
Cachelog, cachenote, pencil and sharpener and a plastic bag for the contents (please do not remove these things)

Der Cache liegt im Dunkelsteinerwald, auf der Südseite der Wachau. Start ist in Oberarnsdorf. Die Koordinaten für die Stationen 1 und 2 wurden aufgrund technischer Probleme der Landkarte entnommen (und sind daher nicht punktgenau). Die dort gesuchten Objekte sind aber nicht zu verkennen.
Parken: Mit etwas Glück direkt bei Station 1 (Platz für ca. 3 Autos)
Öffentlich: Nicht so leicht. Möglich wäre: Mit dem Zug nach Spitz und mit der Fähre über die Donau.
Das Gelände ist leicht solange es nur um den Cache geht. Es ist keine Kletterei erforderlich, um an die Box zu gelangen. Die Wege sind zumeist Forststrassen, aber recht steil. Die Mitnahme einer guten Karte mit darin verzeichneten Forststrassen wäre nützlich.
Alle Berechnungen beziehen sich im Normalfall auf die drei Stellen hinter dem Komma von N und E (wenn größere Zahlen auftauchen, einfach das Komma ignorieren). Buchstaben werden nach dem Schema (A=1, B=2, ... Z=26) in Zahlen umgewandelt.

Der Text spricht von "gefunden", obwohl das vielleicht nicht das Wort ist, das man in diesem Zusammenhang normalerweise benutzen würde. Wandle die ersten vier Buchstaben zu Zahlen um und nenne sie A, B, C und D.
Station 2- Alpenblume: N2= N1 - (A*C*D) + 24 , E2 = E1 + B*C*D + 23
Geniesst den Blick bei einem mit einer sehr grossen Alpenblume verzierten Objekt. Schaut euch das Objekt an: Es wurde in Erinnerung an jemanden aufgestellt. Finde seinen Beruf heraus. Die Anzahl der Buchstaben des Berufs (Umlaute zählen als nur ein Buchstabe) ergibt die Zahl E. Wandle den letzten Buchstaben des Berufs zu F um.
Cache: NCache = N2 - E*10 - F*3 - 4 , ECache = E2 - E*5 + 990
Jetzt erklärt sich wohl der Name des Caches. Wenn nicht, seid ihr falsch.
Der Cache ist eine durchsichtige Plastik-Box (ca. 0,6l). Cachelog, Cachenote, Stift, Spitzer und Plastiksackerl für den Inhalt (bitte diese Dinge hier lassen)
