Eine Wanderung auf den Hittisberg (1328m). Der Weg nach oben ist ziemlich steil.

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

The starting point is at N = 47° 27,452 E = 9° 57,609 in front of the church in Hittisau. Public transportation by bus is available and will drop you at this location.

Stage 1: Church
N1 = 47° 27,452 and E1 = 9° 57,609
Count the clocks of the church tower. This number will be C. Follow the main road eastwards.

Stage 2: Crossing Heideggen
N2 = 47° 27,397 E2 = 9° 57,901
Here you find a direction sign with the sealevel on it. Unfortuately it is not readable anymore. The sealevel is: 790m.
Calculate the cross sum of these 3 digits and remember the greater digit of the result as Q.

Stage 3: Crossing "Rappenfluh"
N3 = 47° 26,964 and E3 = 9° 58,255
Follow the path on the right side and enter the "Rappenfluh"

Stage 4: A cave named ?
N4 = 47° 26,896 and E4 = 9° 58,312
You stand in front of a cave with a certain name. Count the number of characters of the cave name and remember it as A. Go back to stage 3!

Stage 5: Gferenalpe
N5 = 47° 26,671 and E5 = 9° 58,753
Follow the path on the left hand side.

Stage 6: Hittisberg peak
N6 = 47° 26,791 and E6 = 9° 58,990
You made it - almost ;) You reached the cross and have a nice overview of the Vorderbregenzerwald.

Stage 7: A small hut
N6 = 47° 26,A(Q-1)(A+1) and E6 = 9° 5(A+1),5QX
Now the cache is very near! Go down the hill north-west.

The Cache:
Ncache = 47° 26,AQQ Ecache = 9° 5(A+1),(C+2)(C+2)(C+2)
The original cache was a plastic-box, originally containing: Cachelog and pencil (do not remove), a shell, a Linux penguin pin, a key fob, a tape with unknown data, green stone. The cache is hidden under the roots of a tree.

Suggestion:
After you have found the cache follow the path eastwards instead of walking back the path you came from.
