This Hotel was created as a halfway rest stop for Trackables (geocoins and travel bugs) that need to be picked it by travelling Geocachers for National or International travel goals.
Have you every found a trackable that wants to go interstate or international when you are going east or overseas? Bring it to the Travel Bug Hotel and trade it for one going your way.
A large Tupperware cache is to be a home away from home for trackables.
Please trade trackable for trackable.
If you take 1, leave 1
If you take 2, leave 2
If you take 3,..(You get the picture!)
However, it is acceptable to just stop by and pick up a trackable without leaving one, if you can help it on its voyage. It’s permissible to take more than one if you can GENUINELY help the hitchhikers on its journey, however please do not take ALL the trackables. Let everyone have a chance to participate.
There should always be at least one trackable in the hotel at all times!
There are other goodies to trade if you don’t have a trackable and want to find it. It can then be counted as a find.
Trackables (geocoins and travel bugs): Please do not forget to leave a note in the logbook, and log them online.
Do not let anyone see you hunting for it as it’s a popular place for the local walkers and bike riders. Please cover it well with sheoak needles afterward.
