Geocache Description:

This is to replace the Good-bye God I'm Going to Bodie virtual that was recently archivied. Easy find once you get to the park.

Bodie State Historic Park is the remains of a gold/silver mining town. It was founded in 1859 and was an active town until 1942. This is what the old west really was. We are the Official California Gold Rush Ghost Town. There is so much to see and do here at Bodie SHP, do not think this is a cache and dash, plan to spend a minimum of an hour and that will just scratch the surface. Answer the following questions in a email to me to claim credit for this virtual:

1. What is the number on the post and the name of the building you are looking at? This is a two part answer which if you have the guide book, you have the name of the building. The number is a 2 digit number on a 4x4 post in front of the building.

2. What does it say in white lettering on the wall behind the windows if you look in on the left side of the building? You are looking for a black sign with 2 lines of text on it. 6 words total.
