Geocache Description:

If you find yourself on the wrong side of the ravine not to worry as there is a bridge to the correct side along the way.

This cache may be subject to water damage so please make certain that any additions are water proof or bagged.

Contents:
Cow doggie toy (courtesy of Angel the pup);
Dragonfly fridge magnet;
2 bouncy balls (with snakes);
compass thermometer key chain;
first aid kit;
key light;
address book;
several bags of international coinage;
childrens "police" badge

As children we used to play hide and go seek in this area and visit this section of the Don River. Today the River has been built up as a park with the Toronto Conservation Authority and the River is no longer treacherous to cross as there is now a foot bridge (not that the water was deep it's just that somehow or another I would always end up getting soaked).

The area to the north was formerly a dump site and if you decide to explore further you can walk up to John St. (or walk down as the case may be) and see the methane vents in full action. I wonder how many of the residents who live alongside this fully vegetated mound even know what lies beneath it's surface...

I have adjusted the difficulty and terrain rating as I've been informed it is much easier to find than I had anticipated (what was I worried about?!...)
