As always, please obey all posted/restricted area signs and respect
private property.
The water hazards are fast moving, so please no swimming. Avoid
the fenced off area of the debris field, it hides the drain.
The road to the parking area can be rutted and muddy after
recent rains. There is another parking lot located about 150 yards
away from the recommended parking. Please drive slowly down the
road, there is a very nice older couple living on this road who
enjoy sitting on their front porch.
Parking is located off of Meyers Lane at:
N39 57.365 W 080 29.926
I found this area over a year ago, and knew I had to place a
cache here. This area is very unique in multiple ways. The terrain
to stage 1 can be very muddy at times and contains a few small
water hazards. I would highly recommend staying on the old logging
road to this stage. Stage 2 will require some mountian goating
skills. I would high recommend using a hiking staff. There is a
direct route back to the parking area, if you are an extreme cacher
and want to have some extra fun, bushwack directly back to the
parking area.
Stage 1 is a virtual. You will need a three digit number of the
plaque located at this location. The number is located on the upper
right hand corner of the plaque and starts with PA-.
Stage 2 is the finial cache. The corrdinates are
N39 57.548 W 080 30.xxx
xxx = 745 minus the three digit number from stage one.
The final cache is a painted 50 cal. ammo can that is well
stocked with swag from the Groundspeak store. These trade items are
deserving for what is involved in finding this cache. Please
remember to trade up. The final stage will not be easy to find,
hence the high difficulty rating. Please rehide the cache in its
hiding spot exactly as you found it, and be gentel to the area.
