Approach from the South or from Conowingo Dam Fisherman's Park. There is a very good main trail most of the way. When you are forced to leave the main trail, find the footpath, and there should be no need for bushwhacking (A sign near the trail head requests staying on trails to minimize human impact on flora & fauna.).
A small part of the walk is uphill, but not a difficult climb. Be aware that poisonous snakes are indigenous to the area, so be sure to look where you are walking. Cache is just a step or two off path so you don’t have to walk thru thick underbrush, rocks, etc. Nevertheless, it may be advisable to use a walking stick to warn off any creepycrawlies lurking about the area. Be sure to look before reaching. As cache is right on path, please re-hide it carefully so it is not visible to geo-muggles.Cache is an ammo box. Original contents includes log book, 2 pens, 2 AA batteries, leather watch band, toy car, body glitter, snap key ring, 25th Anniversary Walt Disney World Planet Hollywood pin, “Raven Pride” Travel Bug. Scenic location is a nice spot to stop and relax for a while.
