The whole area is awash with many outdoor sports all year round. The views are fantastic on a clear day. In the winter months you can sit and watch the skiers whizz past, and during the summer why not wander around the alpine garden in the background of the picture.
Cairn Gorm is home to Scotland’s only Mountain railway, which will take you close to the summit, there is no need to use the railway to log this cache, car parking is close, plentiful and free, more info here and a map here

There is another camera just below the summit which can give great views of snow in the winter and the fells in the summer, in the winter months the only way to this second camera is via the funicular railway, duing the summer the walk in quite a steep trek but well worth it.
