isht kinta: Since you have not responded to my reviewer log about your cache, nor did you post a note to your cache page telling me and others of your intention to address the issue with it, the cache has been archived.

Some time ago, I posted a note to your cache page requesting a response from you to post what you were planning to do with the cache on the page and to send me a note. I have no record of a response, and no response tells me that you are not planning on replacing or repairing this cache. If I am wrong with that assumption, please let me know promptly. I can always unarchive the cache for you if needed.

Geocache Description:

A 3-stage cache located at a WWII P.O.W. camp site in the Desoto N.F.

Stage 1: A simple micro not far from parking. It directs you to Stage 2. Watch out for poison ivy. There is a faint trail leading to this stage, bushwhacking not required. When you get close to the edge of the woods, walk along it until you see the path. Easy.

Stage 2: A basic 30 cal ammo can with standard cache-ish items. Still not too far in, but it directs you to Stage 3. Stage 2 is where the usual cache-treasure swapping should go on. Also: fellow cacher Kirbert notes that there is a letterbox very nearby. As it has a screw-top lid it would be hard to mistake it for an ammo can, but if you do happen to find it, well, now you know what it is and to keep looking for the ammo can.

Stage 3: You’re looking deeper into the woods now. The third cache is a 50 cal ammo can, not too hard to find, but with a twist: it’s a box full of Wild Ideas. Mostly a book cache, other idea-related trade items are welcome too. To get a picture of what’s going on with the 3rd Stage, look at the starting contents:
- New Testament (wildly controversial ideas -- just ask Mel Gibson)
- Koran (some wild ideas here; check the news lately?)
- The Fountainhead (“Ayn Rand? aaieee! nooooo!”)
- “Give’em Enough Rope” CD by The Clash (wild thrashing, or politics-tinged punk rock? is there a difference?)
- and a copy of the Declaration of Independence & US Constitution (enough wild ideas here to touch off at least one revolution and the wildest experiment in self-rule the world has ever seen).
Of course, the contents of #3 will change, but I'll try to keep it stocked with books, music, and movies that are full of Wild Ideas.

For all the Wild Ideas in the 3rd Stage, it still manages to remain true to the family-friendly nature of geocaching. These items are all commonly available in bookstores, to minors even, without so much as a background check. So trade, swap, take, or borrow & return any of the above with similar items. We didn’t include any movies initially, but if they have idea-driven stories (and aren’t any wilder than, say, PG-13), those would be welcome too. If you didn’t find an Al Franken book all that funny, or want to ditch the Ann Coulter book your uncle gave you last Christmas, this is the right place! Pretty much any idea-based religious, philosophical, or political books, music recordings, or movies will fit in here. But please, keep it family friendly. While some of this stuff has caused wars, it is pretty clean. Or, if you don't have any books or tapes to trade, simply visit, swap treasures at #2, and sign the log in #3. At the very least, it's a good excuse to poke around the old P.O.W. camp.
