A pleasant stroll out with great views...even in the rain.You can find parking near the View point on Pulpit Hill,or at the top of Glenmore road.Approx(N 56.24.420 W 005.28.960)Try the long way round.....rather than the direct approach.
Oban's first cache and from here you get to see "The gateway to the isles"and the Firth of Lorne,where so many convoys left during WW2,the Sound of Mull, where many a ship has been lost ancient and modern, and of course Oban.The famous Roman Amphitheatre......... only joking McCaigs Tower. Dunolie castle can also be seen towards the northern entrance to Oban bay.....The cache is a 2Ltr food container and has the usual goodies.
