Located at the Thompson Hill Rest Area off from I-35.
Welcome to the Duluth/Superior area (or sorry to hear you're leaving Duluth)!
This should be a fairly easy to get to cache that can be accessed from the Thompson Hill Rest Area. It's a whole 300' or so from the parking lot. A good chance to stop and stretch your legs.
Thompson Hill offers a great view of Duluth and Superior. Be sure to go inside and check out the information center.
I've had a number of bugs in my hands recently that needed to leave the area, but I've not had a good place to drop them to get them on their way. Hopefully this will do it. This is a travel bug hotel for bugs coming into the area or leaving the area. Be sure to write the bugs destination in the log book so others will know where it is going.
I would appreciate it if you swap bugs one for one but please take a bug if you feel that you can help it along to it's destination.
If you don't have a TB to swap then you are welcome to TNLN or take something else from the cache and leave something else. I have started the cache out with a couple of bugs and a couple of other items to trade. The container is a smaller ammo box. This container should easily fit most TBs.
I've marked the cache as winter friendly as it is often found in the winter although you may end up digging a little bit for it if there's been a lot of snow.
