D Ein Letterbox-Cache auf dem Freiburger Schloßberg. Wenn man am Aussichtsturm ist, sind es etwa 1-1,5 Std. bzw. ca. 3km Weg (Turm->Letterbox->Turm). E A Letterbox-Cache at Freiburg's Schloßberg. Starting at the tower it's approx. a 1-1.5 hours walk or about 2 miles (Tower->Letterbox->Tower).

Dies in ein Letterbox-Hybrid-Cache, d.h. man kann ihn auch ohne GPS, nur mittels der Hinweise und eines Kompaß finden. Die Letterbox enthält nichts zum Tauschen, stattdessen gibt es das übliche Logbuch und einen Stempel, der im Cache verbleiben muß. Mit dem Stempel kann man in seinem eigenen mitzubringenden Logbuch den Fund verzeichnen. Mit seinem (falls vorhandenen) persönlichen Stempel loggt man dann seinen Fund im Cache-Logbuch. - Stempel und Stempelkissen im Cache bitte unbedingt drin lassen! - Dein eigenes Letterbox-Logbuch, eigenen Stempel und Stempelkissen mitbringen!
Die Start-Koordinaten sind die des Aussichtsturms. Achtung: Bei dieser Letterbox sollte man unbedingt schwindelfrei sein! Ohne die Lösungen von der obersten Plattform kann die Letterbox nicht gefunden werden!

Ab jetzt helfen diverse Tafeln weiter, die Wissenswertes über die alte Festungsanlage verraten. Gehe vom Turm aus die "obere Kommunikation" entlang. Gehe am "Stock" vorbei bis zum "Oberen Schloß". (N 47° 59.789 E 007° 51.955)
Folge von der Tafel aus dem Weg Richtung (W)° bis zum Markierungsstein Nummer (M). Es werden alle Markierungssteine gezählt, die direkt am Weg stehen bzw. die man dem Weg zurechnen kann (unterwegs geht z.B. nen Bogen ab, der Bogen zählt dann natürlich nicht). Augen auf, es gibt verschiedene Sorten, die alle mitgezählt werden! Vom Markierungsstein aus gehe (S) kurze Schritte (dem Gelände angepaßt) in Richtung (C)°. Hier liegt die Letterbox unter Steinen.
Achtung! Bei der Letterbox kann man vom Weg aus beobachtet werden. Also bitte vorsichtig suchen und loggen. Am besten wär es, wenn jemand am Weg "Schmiere steht". Ich glaube allerdings nicht, daß in der Ecke viel los ist.

This is a Letterbox-Hybrid-Cache, i.e. it can be found without a GPS, only using the hints and a compass. The letterbox does not contain anything for trading, only the logbook and a rubber stamp which has to remain in the cache. Using the rubber stamp you can mark your visit in your own logbook. If you own a personal rubber stamp you can mark your visit in the cache's logbook. - The rubber stampand the inking pad has to remain in the cache! - Bring your own logbook, personal rubber stamp and personal logbook (if available)! The given coordinates point to the tower ("Schloßbergturm"). Caution: You have to be free from giddiness! The letterbox cannot be found without some numbers from the topmost platform!

From now on several plates on your way will provide interesting information about the old fortress (sorry, only available in German).
From the tower follow the "upper communication" ("obere Kommunikation"). Pass the "Stock" and go to the upper castle ("Oberes Schloß"). (N 47° 59.789 E 007° 51.955)
From the "Oberes Schloß" plate go on at bearing (W)° until you reach the (M)th milestone. All milestones count which are directly right beside the path (for clearness: to the left and right of course) or are meant to belong to the path (at one point an arc is branching which of course does not count). Watch out, there are several different types which all do count! From the milestone go (S) short steps (adjusted to the terrain) at bearing (C)°. The letterbox is hidden under stones. Caution! You can be watched from the path. Please seek and log carefully. Perhaps someone can guard standing on the path. But it's not that crowded. Enjoy
