First Geocachers' Meeting in Upper Austria

Welcome to the first Event Cache in Upper Austria. The meeting is scheduled for April 4, 2004, starting from 1400 (UTC+2 aka CEDST).

Enjoy yourself on a trip to one of the Linz (or, more precisely: Leonding) city mountains.
Bring your family and friends for an afternoon of making contact with your fellow geocachers from near or (hopefully) far, chatting, cache hunting etc.

The abovementioned coordinates are those of our starting point, tower 13 (called "Genoveva") of the Maximilian defense line around Linz.

We have reserved two tables at the close-by "Rohrwieser Mostbuschenschank" (opening at 1500) at the following coordinates:

Erstes Geocacher-Treffen in Oberösterreich



Herzlich Willkommen zum ersten Event Cache in Oberösterreich. Das Treffen ist für den 4. April 2004 angesetzt, Beginn um 1400 (UTC+2 vulgo MESZ).

Genießt einen Ausflug auf einen der Linzer (oder genauer gesagt: Leondinger) Hausberge.
Bringt Eure Familie und Freunde zu einem Nachmittag des gegenseitigen Kennenlernens von Geocachern aus der näheren oder (zumindest hoffen wir das!) weiteren Umgebung, fürs Geocachen, Tratschen usf.

Die angegebenen Koordinaten sind die unseres Treffpunktes, Turm 13 (genannt "Genoveva") der Maximilianischen Verteidigungslinie um Linz.

Wir haben zwei Tische bei der nahegelegenen "Rohrwieser Mostbuschenschank" (sperrt um 1500 auf) an den folgenden Koordinaten reserviert:

E 014°14.768'

Bitte meldet Euch (incl. Personenzahl) mit einem "Note Log" an.


Wir haben sonst nichts weiter vorbereitet. Es böte sich daher die Gelegenheit an, einen der nahegelegenen Caches (oder auch alle) aufzusuchen - siehe Tabelle oben.
