This is the oldest active cache in Burgenland
Read this instruction before you start driving to Bernstein, as you have to do some historic research in advance (easiest done via Internet).
This cache will lead you to the former home of Laszlo Almásy, aka "The English Patient"
Drive to
N 47°24.347'
E 016°15.331'
and park your car there. Have a look around in the town and the castle of Bernstein.

Now walk to
N 47°24.178'
E 016°15.300'
and find out the birth date of the person that bought the castle from the Batthyány family in 1864.
The date be AB.CD.EFGH
Hike up to the summit of Kienberg (blue mark) at
N 47°25.481',
E 016°15.902'.
Find the cache at a distance of approx. 470m in an approx. SW direction of the peak at the coordinates:
N 47°2W.XYZ.'
E 016°1M.NOP'.
