Geocache Description:

Lilydale Park. Lilydale Minnesota, 55107

This is a unique multi-cache geared towards enticing those who enjoy night caching, or have ever considered it. It is a cammo appropriate ammo box with basic instructions, log book, and the black lights needed.

Parking is available at the public water access. PLEASE NOTE:This park is closed from 11:00PM to 5:00AM daily.

All you need is a reliable flashlight and a sense of adventure.

Inspiration by special family members,Toadie and Froggie, and my love for caching in the dark, has led to this hide.
It has taken over two months of testing several types of "glow" materials, as well as various types of potential caches. I have spent untold hours after dark on "practice hunts" in the garage and a dark bathroom testing new materials and various types of lighting. A great many hours were also devoted to canvassing possible parks all over the metro that would allow for cachers after dark.

This cache features 2 potential final coords. You decide which one you want, but both final hides are not needed to complete this cache. If you do go for both, feel free to log it a second time as a find. Both of the final 2 locations are relatively easy to get to, as they are either close to the trail or they are in wooded areas with moderate underbrush.

The first leg of the cache is the most challenging, and the rope will attest to this. It is hidden in a location that will preserve the hide from muggles. (See clue below)
You will find three black light flashlights, basic instructions and coords for the final two caches. Please use the blacklights after you get near the final hunting location. You are looking for a 1/4" spot that will glow when the blacklight shines on it. Look very carefully at the 'glow spot' and you will be able to find the final cache. Keep in mind this cache is Winter friendly, so unless the snowfall is over 6 feet deep, you will be able to find the final 2 caches.

1) Park here N44'55.039 W093'07.680 Park is open until 11:00
2) Be sure to bring a good flashlight.
3) Bring 3 AA batteries per person hunting (for black light)
4) Wear long pants. The river bottoms have Nettles.
5) Bug Dope is a must.
6) Have fun! Darker, cloudier nights are best!

One other hint....you may wish to make your vehicle a waypoint before your journey, as it can be somewhat disorienting "When Darkness Falls"..........
