Geocache Description:

This cache is located south of the Kimberling City bridge. There is safe parking within a few hundred feet of cache. Small amount of bushwacking is necessary. Cache is a camo painted ammo box.

In 1957, the White River flooded this area and the new dam helped to bury the old bridge of Kimberling City, putting it the waters of Table Rock Lake forever. There are a few old photographs which show both the 1927 Kimberling Bridge and the new one that we use today. They both still exist today, then new one above, and the old one below the waters of Table Rock Lake.
