Light House Landing Park Traditional Geocache
Hutt: Sadly, after 16 years, the rising lake level has claimed this one..... when placed in 2003, there was forty feet of beach before the rocks - now the rocks are the shoreline and the cache is underwater with any sized waves...... too bad.

An fairly easy lakefront cache in an interesting location.
Only a little rough terrain awaits you near the cache, depending on from which direction you approach. You may even walk under what I think is an Indian Trail Tree. The cache contains a logbook, horseshoe and some other trinkets. UPDATED 7/8/16; Now a Tupperware container 2x5x5"
The lighthouse dominates the property but try to find time to view the outdoor sculpture exhibit, too. The Evanston Art Center hosts rotating exhibits that are usually quite interesting. There is also a park for the kids and a swimming beach, in season.
The area can be crowded on warm summer days.
