November 2003 Monthly Meeting

Make plans now to attend the Maryland Geocaching Society's November meeting. This month's meeting will be held in Gifford Pinchot State Park, RAIN, SNOW OR SHINE!!! Listen to the local forecast & dress accordingly.

Moving the start of the event to 10, this will let everyone get there and socialize 'til 11 or so and have the meeting just before eating. The last meeting was quick, just a "this is who we are, go eat and have fun!" This will give us more time to cache after the chow.

This month's meeting will be a pot-luck event so please bring a dish to share! More details will be posted soon!

There will be a bulletin board posted with all the caches located at the park:
Florida @ Pinchot Lake (GCED5D)

The coordinates for the new caches will be given out at the meeting.

NOTE: If you are planning on hiding a cache for the event, please contact CCCooperAgency. The Park Management has given us some parameters for our protection & in order to comply with the geocaching.com guidelines (ie. proximity issues, etc.).

Please post a note if you plan on attending, indicate the number of members in your team that will be in attendance and the food item you will be sharing.

Note: You must attend the lunch / business meeting to log the event cache as a find.

This caching event/picnic is open to ALL geocachers (novice and seasoned)whether they hail from Maryland, Pennsylvania or any of the other 50 States. The business meeting stipulation applies to the Maryland Geocaching Society members only.
