Idyllic setting in the midst of magnificent high desert. Easy hike in from dirt road. Relax in the cool of water fall
After leaving the main road at N29 16.791 W103 22.098 stop at the required parking spot (N29 16.975 W103 21.007). It's only about a mile to the falls along a well maintained trail. This year (2003) Big Bend has had 24 inches of rain (normal around 12) and the falls are running strong. Water fall is about 100 + feet tall and the setting is covered from the heat of the sun by large trees. Enjoy the quiet of the setting and the relaxing sound of the water falls. The cache is the falls themselves since this is National Park Land territory. To fully claim this cache - send me what you find as the ONLY man-made object you see as you get to the falls (excluding the trail, of course)
