This cache takes you on a leisurely stroll around the Canberra Botanic Gardens. (Which incidentally and very luckily survived the January’03 bushfires). Here you can identify all those bushes, shrubs and trees that have scratched you on your previous caching adventures – except blackberries! Of course, this time you stick to the paths, and there is no danger of getting scratched!
With this cache you get 12 pictures (all taken in the Botanical Garden). Each picture has a number associated with it. Six of them you need to find, the other 6 are red-herrings! You also get 6 waypoints to visit (below). What you need to do is visit each of these locations, and identify which picture is found at that location. Be careful, as some locations are close together! Once you have identified the locations, assign the picture’s number to the location’s letter. For example if location A were the Bottle Tree, then A=7.
Now the final location is at 35º1D.ECB south - 149º0D.EFA east
When you arrive at the final location, you should find a man-made item. To claim the find – message me what this item is - I’ll reply and let you know if you are right. If you are right, you can claim the find! Do not mention the item in your listing.
Gates are open from 9-5 every day except Christmas Day. There is no entrance fee, but car parking fees apply.
