Geocache Description:

This is a multi cache with clues to coordinates hidden in micro caches. There may also be some virtual clues as well. The coordinates listed above are for the location of the first micro cache, which is in Frink Park (hence the name of the cache). All other parks should remain nameless in any logs posted here. Please do not mention how many waypoints are involved as well. All physical caches are located in Olmsted parks and are part of Seattle Parks. I have tried to include some features of a few of my favorite multi caches in this one. I must give credit to The Jester and Uplink for providing those hides. Please rehide all caches at least as well as they were hidden when you found them. This cache can be done on a bicycle, but there is a fair amount of walking that must be done since some trails that are used are closed to bicycles. Walking distance should not be more than 0.75 miles and that can be reduced depending on parking. I won’t say how much cycling might be involved. If you have to walk a total of fifty feet off trail, you are not doing it right. A minor amount of bushwhacking is required at the final cache and some off trail walking is required at Frink Park. The clues are almost all math puzzles so I hope your math skills are up to the task. The difficulty level is based on the math puzzles that you will need to solve. In order to accomplish this task you will also need to have the listed coordinates for my first two finds from my first day of caching on January 7, 2003. Those would be GC7D0B by Seabecker and GC90C3 by Wandering Pirates. This cache is not a night time cache. At least one of the parks closes at dusk. Check signs when you enter a park late in the day. All intermediate physical caches are fake rocks. Inside each fake rock is a bison container. Inside those are two pieces of paper. On the larger one is a QR code and the long skinny one has a URL. Both lead to a pdf file of the puzzle page. That file is hosted on One Drive. The URL has been shortened to make it easier to access and was uploaded from my computer. If any cacher is uncomfortable downloading that file, you may email me with the URL and I will email it back when I can. You can use either one to get that page on your phone. Leave those papers in the bison tube. Locations mentioned in the clue sheets are virtual locations only. They are just to gather information to be used later. The final cache is a large ammo can. I have tried to put some good stuff in, as this is a difficult cache. Please bring nice trade items. The difficulty level for this cache is based on the puzzles that have to be solved. If help is needed with the cache locations, hints are available via email. I will point out that Lake Washington Blvd. is a part of the Olmsted Legacy and as such may just offer the best experience for this cache. If you need to check coordinates, feel free to email for confirmation. For more information about the Olmsted brothers and their influence on Seattle Parks and boulevards see http://www.cityofseattle.net/parks/parkspaces/olmsted.htm Note added 5/23/2004: For those who are a bit math phobic, the math involved involves things I taught as a middle school teacher so anyone who can do 8th grade math should be able to handle it.
