This is now a standalone cache as two of the original series were archived before I adopted the others. Below is the original text from when the cache was published.
This is Part 2 of a 4 part cache series. In order to complete Part 4 – “The Final Raid” you must also complete, "Timothy Potter" and Guys Gaff". These can be done in any order and can be logged as individual finds.
The co-ordinates are NOT that of the cache, but of where you will find the answer to the following question:
What is the name of this place where you can obtain sustenance?
In order to locate the Cache, use the 6th and the 1st letter of the answer of the question above in turn and the code below to replace the X’s in the Northing co-ordinate.
A B C D E F G
0 1 2 3 4 5 6
H I J K L M N
7 8 9 0 1 2 3
O P Q R S T U
4 5 6 7 8 9 0
V W X Y Z
1 2 3 4 5
N 53, X6.83X
Repeat the above using the 4th, 10th and 6th letters and the same code to replace the X’s in the the Westing co-ordinate.
W 000, XX.3X6
When you have found this cache, on the log sheet there is a single word clue. Make a note of this as you will need it to get to "The Final Raid"
This walk is approximately 0.53 of a mile from the following suggested parking. You can park at the establishment if you intend to drop in for a drink. This establishment is well known in the local area for it’s fine food and drink and is highly recommended to pay a visit to sample the goods and also to look at the vast amount of Airforce memorabilia collected over the years. Also you will be very close to Thorpe Camp Visitor centre, which has a great deal of information on RAF Woodhall Spa during the war and beyond.
If you are not using the pub or it is closed, an alternative parking is located at N 53. 06.957, W 000.10.666. From here the cache is about 0.44m as the crow flies. There is space for at least two cars on the grass verge outside the entry to Tattershall Carrs woodland. After walking up the path, turn right just past the second old building and follow the path round to get to the cache location. Once bagged the cache, double back a short way and take a right following the path which will take you back to your car on a circular route.
The walk takes you into an area of woodland, which was once a part of RAF Woodhall Spa during the war and there are still remains of buildings left today.
