Geocache Description:

The cache has been placed a little bit away from it’s original coordinates, so please take note.

Besides the obvious attraction being the Wonderboom itself, there exists a Fort at the top too. It was built to protect Pretoria from the North. Although currently full of graffiti and falling apart, it still has a haunting presence. To get to the cache you need to walk around the fort to where the fence ends and follow your GPS from there. The cache is a two liter ice-cream container, wrapped in a plastic bag. It is placed under a small tree with some loose rocks to cover it. The gates open at 8:00 am every day and there is an entrance fee to be paid.

R13 for Adults/School children

R5 for Pre-school

R8 for Pensioners
